MEDAL MOUNTING
COURT OR DISPLAY STYLE
AND D.I.Y. SUPPLIES

MEDAL MOUNTING
Prices decrease the more medals you have mounted together.
There are three styles of mounting - Court, Display and Swing.
Court Mounting is a rigid mount with the medal 'tied' to the backing to prevent it moving
The medals have a brooch on the back for attaching to a uniform
Display Mounting is the Same as Court but without the wearing brooch and is
for medals that will be permanently hung in a display case
Swing mounting allows the medals to swing freely. It is the 'standard' old-soldiers method
but the medals can become bruised on the edges.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
MEDAL MOUNTING IS CARRIED OUT STRICTLY IN ORDER OF RECEIPT
The queue is usually around 12 - 14 days - sometimes longer - please be patient
If you do not know the correct Order Of Wear, do not worry
we will mount the ribbons for you in accordance with current Dress Regulations.

THE COMPLETE MEDAL MOUNTING GUIDE - FULLY ILLUSTRATED
AVAILABLE AS A PDF (ADOBE) DOWNLOAD - £5.99
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL GUIDE - OFTEN COPIED, NEVER BETTERED!! I have been asked literally hundreds of times - "How do I mount my own medals?" - Putting it into easy-to-understand text, I found, was virtually impossible as a picture is often worth a few thousand words. So - I decided to write an illustrated guide to mounting, complete with all of the close-up images you will need to successfully mount your own medals. The manual explains, in detail, how to swing, display and court mount your own medals as well as techniques for cleaning and re-draping medals.
Information is also included on all of the materials you will need to carry out the operation. Naturally any craft takes time to master and you probably should not expect that your first effort at mounting will be flawless. Take time to practice on a few replica medals before you tackle the real thing and in time you will be able to mount a set of medals that any serviceman or woman would be proud to wear on any parade ground!
