TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
YOUR RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE DISTANCE SELLING
& ELECTRONIC COMMERCE REGULATIONS


These Terms and Conditions apply to all PRIVATE customers living within the European Union.
You and we have certain obligations in law because we sell to you 'from a distance' and by 'Electronic' means.
If you provide a 'Commercial Address' (Trading Estate, Shop etc), OR PURCHASE BY WAY OF TRADE, these terms do NOT apply to you and you do NOT have the same safeguards in Law. We consider this a Business to Business transaction.
ALL prices shown on our website/s are in UK Pounds Sterling - GBP

We do NOT charge VAT. We are not registered for VAT at this time.
If we ever do charge VAT, it will be included in the price of your item but will be shown separately to you on our invoice, together with our VAT Number.

Do not purchase from us if you disagree with any of the terms set out below.

PRIVACY: We do not disclose the information you send us regarding your financial details, your products purchased or you address details to anyone. We destroy all financial information after we have processed your order. If you have ordered by regular mail or telephone, we shred your details. If you have ordered electronically, we delete your details, other than the basic record of your transaction which remains on the PayPal or Google server.

We provide you with our full contact information in the Main Menu under the heading CONTACT
You must provide us with accurate contact information which must include a valid and working eMail address, telephone number and mailing address.
If you pay us with 'Electronic Cash' (PayPal etc) the address we will mail your purchases to will be the address you have registered with the 'Electronic Cash' provider. If you pay us by any other means, we will mail to any address you stipulate in the order

YOUR ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO CANCEL
You may return what we sell to you FOR ANY REASON
Within 7 days of receipt you MUST:
Write to us, either by eMail or by regular letter to advise us that you are returning the goods.
You do NOT have to state a reason
You MUST take good care of the goods until you return them
If we do NOT send you a copy of these Conditions by eMail or letter, your rights are extended to 3 months and 7 days.
You must pay for the return of the goods by trackable means so that you can prove you have sent them back to us.

We will refund you with the full purchase price plus your original postage paid.
You do NOT have to return the goods BEFORE we issue the refund, but you must return them in a reasonable time and in the same condition as they were received.
If you have tampered with, made changes to or otherwise altered the goods, they are NOT RETURNABLE.
Refunds will ONLY be made by the same payment method you used to pay originally.

RETURNING FAULTY, MISDESCRIBED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS
Your rights are exactly the same as above as shown in 'Your Absolute Right to Cancel'
BUT, In addition, we will also refund to you the postal costs you incur by returning the goods to us.
At our option and absolute discretion, we may collect the goods from you.
You must inform us that the goods are FAULTY, MISDESCRIBED or DEFECTIVE in your letter or eMail to us.
Do not attempt to MEND or REPAIR the faulty goods
We may offer to replace the Faulty or Defective goods with another item. You do NOT have to accept this offer.
Our refund is NOT dependent on the return of the goods and will be issued as soon as possible after you advise us, but you must take good care of the goods and return them within a reasonable time.

EXCEPTIONS TO YOUR RIGHT TO A REFUND
In certain circumstances, you do not have the rights stated above.
You do not have these rights if you have asked for a bespoke, or tailor made item.
In our business, this means that the following items are NOT covered.
Ribbon Bars, Brooches or strips made up to order.
Sash Ribbons cut and made to a specific size.
Medals that are Mounted at your request (Unless workmanship is faulty)
Medals that are engraved (Named) - Unless the spelling is incorrect.
Any other items of a totally custom-made nature (Unless workmanship is faulty)
This term DOES NOT apply to medal ribbons cut to size UNLESS it is for a size that is not normally offered.

WHEN CAN YOU EXPECT YOUR GOODS?
Subject to the goods being in stock, we aim to post the goods to you within 48 hours of your payment.
If you pay by cheque and we have not dealt with you before, we reserve the right to wait for cleared funds before despatch.
If we are out of stock of any item, we will inform you of this at the time we send you a copy of these conditions by eMail
We will inform you as to when we expect stock to arrive if we do not have it.
We MUST supply you with your order within 30 days of your purchase.

Availability and Delivery Receipt of your order does not guarantee that we can supply the selected products to you. All the products on this web site are subject to availability and we reserve the right to supply only part of an order or to divide up orders. We reserve the right to cancel your order and refund at anytime. We also reserve the right to alter the availability and duration of, and to terminate at any time, any special offers.
We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that your purchases are delivered promptly but we cannot guarantee that there will be no such delays in delivery. We accept no liability or responsibility for delayed delivery of products however such delay may be caused.

BY PURCHASING FROM THIS SITE, YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. A COPY WILL BE SENT TO YOU BY EMAIL ON RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER AND BEFORE WE DESPATCH YOUR GOODS.

IF THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU PROVIDE US 'BOUNCES' MAIL BACK TO US OR ADVISES US THAT THE EMAIL IS UNDELIVERABLE WE ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE YOU WITH ANY GOODS OR SERVICE WHATSOEVER UNLESS YOU WRITE TO US BY NORMAL MAIL AND RECONFIRM YOUR ORDER

Your Statutory Rights are not affected by any of the above Terms should those Terms be inequitable in law .
